I moderated a panel and presented an interactive activity around bias for 120+ C-level participants at the annual “Power Moves” conference sponsored by AIG and Bloomberg Live.
Our guests spoke of empowerment, HR and the C-Level’s role in keeping momentum for belonging, and building cohesive cultures in a world of rapidly-evolving tech.
I really enjoyed the chance to speak at one of the most “walk-the-talk” inclusion conferences I’ve attended, Tech Inclusion’s “Voices of Innovation”.
My flash talk showed a user-centric approach to building male allies in tech, through The Corner of the Court Project.
As a psychologist in the tech space, I can’t stress enough how important empathy is the first step in good product design — and by no coincidence, empathy happens to be the foundation for inclusive work cultures as well.
